NAID-ANZ Board focus on outreach

26 November 2015

The NAID-ANZ committee is currently finalizing plans to establish a formal program where veteran members will proactively reach out to both new and prospective members in order to familiarize them with the association’s benefits and its strategy for improving the demand for their services.

“People always prefer to speak to someone who faces the same challenges,” says Paul Hurst of SA-based Green Team, who currently serves as NAID-ANZ chair and NAID board member. “When a service provider in one part of the country can share his experience and struggles with another, that in and of itself, provides a level of value and considerable credibility,” adds Hurst.

The NAID-ANZ committee hopes to launch its outreach and mentoring program in the very near future.
