NAID-ANZ makes impactful debut at ANZ privacy summit

NAID-ANZ was introduced as a premium industry association and Platinum Sponsor to a target audience of nearly 200 privacy industry delegates at the recent iappANZ Privacy@Work Summit - the pre-eminent event of its kind in the region attended by privacy professionals, industry advisors, thought leaders and decision makers.

NAID-ANZ’s presence was seen consistently throughout the day through bold, impressive signage and speaker recognition and the branded portable mobile phone recharger was the stand out ‘take home’ gift of the day - not a single one left behind. Most importantly, the interaction between NAID-ANZ representatives and summit attendees, encouraged by the business card competition, was a valuable communication and marketing exercise, raising awareness of NAID generally and the association’s local and international offering.

“We were impressed with the interest shown by summit delegates in NAID-ANZ. Discussions throughout the day confirmed, as suspected, that data disposal is a real blind spot for those charged with protecting their organisation’s data,” noted Paul Hurst, NAID- ANZ committee chair.

As the first of many new marketing initiatives to establish NAID-ANZ as the recognised leading association and providers of secure, certified information destruction facilities, this was a great start.
