Portland board meeting looks to industry's future

“Keeping an association relevant is the key to providing long-term value to members,” said NAID President Chris Isabell, commenting on the challenges and opportunities facing NAID. “That is always the main agenda item of the association’s leadership, and it changes as the industry continues to mature.”

Isabell’s comments reference the upcoming annual face-to-face board meeting to be held near Portland, Ore., on Aug. 4. According to the association’s top elected official, the meeting will focus on advancing existing programs such NAID certification and Downstream’s professional liability coverage. The association leaders will also set their international agenda, determine future research programs for the year and explore new member services.
