2012 conference in Brussels takes shape

Though the list of speakers and sessions for the 2012 Joint NAID-Europe/PRISM/ARMA Conference will not be released until next month, conference planners are giving members a sneak peek of what is in store for this year. The following are among the topics to be covered:

  • Increase leads and strengthen relationships with social media
  • Data destruction sales
  • Ways to decrease service provider liability under the data protection regulation
  • An orientation on the newly modified DIN standards for destruction

The joint conference will also feature a number of world-class keynote speakers.

“Last year, Peter Hustinx, the EU Data Protection Supervisor opened our event in London,” said NAID CEO Bob Johnson. “Because we are in Brussels, we have our sights on speakers who have similar credentials and impact on the data protection landscape in Europe. It is premature to say who they are at this point, but if we are successful, it will certainly get everyone’s attention.”

Details about conference registration, sessions and speakers will be announced in late July. The event will be held at La Dolce Resort in Brussels, Belgium, 5-7 November.
