Board veteran tapped to fill vacancy

6 Aug. 2014

The NAID Board of Directors unanimously approved the appointment of Scott Fasken to serve as the organization’s past president. Fasken is filling a vacancy created by the unexpected departure of Tom Huth who, recently, resigned to pursue opportunities outside the secure destruction industry.

Fasken, the owner of a mobile destruction company, Colorado Document Security, serving Colorado, Utah, Idaho and New Mexico, has previously served as a NAID director and a member of the executive committee for several years, most recently as past president.

About his return to the NAID board, Fasken said, “I am honored that my colleagues would invite me back to help. It is always good to serve with earnest and ethical professionals who are fighting the good fight.”
