With a little help from our friends - Joint conference on course to set record attendance

To lift a sentiment from the Beatles, next month’s NAID-Europe Conference will get by with a little help from its friends.

“As I see it, there are many reasons that this year’s Joint NAID/PRISM/ARMA will be the most highly attended European event we’ve held,” says NAID CEO Bob Johnson. “But at the end of the day, it boils down to the people and partnerships we’ve forged.”

Here is a partial list of the many people who will be presenting at the event:

  • Lord McNally,UKMinister of State and Deputy Leader of the House of Lords
  • Peter Hustinx, EU Data Protection Supervisor
  • Christian D’Cunha, EU Commission Desk Officer for the Data Retention Directive
  • Helen Woollett, Global Head of Data Privacy, Barclays Wealth
  • Diane Carlisle, CRM, Deputy Executive Director, ARMA International

And then there are the new and evolving partnerships:

  • ARMA International joining with NAID and PRISM, for the first time attracting records managers to the event
  • The record number of industry-specific vendors who will be exhibiting at the only records management and data destruction trade show on the European continent
  • The growing partnership between EU policy makers and NAID-Europe reflected by the participation of Lord Tom McNally, Supervisor Peter Hustinx, and Commission Desk Officer, Christian D’Cunha

The 2011 NAID-Europe/PRISM/ARMA Joint Conference will be held 7-9 November 2011 at the Hilton London Metropole in Central London.  NAID-Europe members are encouraged to act quickly.
