NAID-AUSTRALASIA SUMMIT SET FOR MID-MARCH
The NAID-Australasia Committee will be hosting its first Regional Summit Meeting at the Marriott Sydney Harbor View Hotel on March 13, 2008.
The purpose of the meeting is to set the course of NAID-Australasia, as well as to introduce prospective members to the association. Approximately 30 companies are expected to be represented at the meeting. Among the speakers at the event are Bob Johnson, NAID executive director, John Grimes of Deacons' Int’l Law Firm, and Van Karos of Shred-X, who is also the newly appointed Chair of NAID-Australasia.
Within the same week, NAID’s will conduct its first certification audit in Australia and a NAID-Australasia delegation will meeting the country’s Assistant Privacy Commissioner.
