NYC LAW FIRM RECORDS TRASHED ALONG BUSY STREET

NAID headquarters found no shortage of articles chronicling how, on May 9th, records containing personal information from a major New York City law firm were found stuffed into a half a dozen public trash bins lining the busy street in front of their office.  All the reports stated that the New York Attorney General's office has launched an investigation into the incident.

A partner in the renowned criminal defense firm is quoted in one of the articles stating that the firm hired a licensed and bonded firm to properly dispose of the records, which dated back to 1990.  No company was mentioned and NAID intends to follow the investigation and the allegations.
