Bookmark and Share

The NAID Board of Directors has authorized the creation of a Global Fiber Committee to create initiatives, programs and publications designed to improve any and all aspects of NAID members’ businesses as it relates to the processing, transport, security and sale of destroyed paper media.

GFC membership will include multiple NAID Member delegates, representing:

  • Paper Manufacturers/Mill Buyers
  • Independent Secondary Fiber Brokers
  • Mobile Destruction
  • Plant-based Destruction
  • Baling Equipment
  • Conveying Equipment
  • Sorting Equipment
  • Destruction Equipment

Additionally, given the international dimension of secondary fiber movement, the GFC is also expected to maintain a membership that includes representation from multinational organizations, as well as organizations operating exclusively outside the US.

Issues that are among those to be considered are grading, particle size, security, and, possibly indexing.
