2008 NAID Conference Schedule Posted

The schedule of sessions for the 2008 NAID Annual Conference is now posted on the NAID website. Among the 34 educational sessions included in this year’s event are:

  • Applying Privacy and Destruction Laws in Sales Situations
  • Transportation Security Issues in e-Destruction
  • How to Get Hundreds of New Accounts without Making Cold Calls
  • 20 Strategies for Differentiating Your Destruction Service from the Pack
  • Benchmarking - How Do I Know If I am Doing Well in the Information Destruction Business?
  • Thought Leaders - The State and Future of the e-Destruction Opportunity
  • Using Case Studies to Make Security the Issue in e-Destruction
  • Thought Leaders - The State and Future of the Paper Destruction Industry
  • Preparing for "Card-Check": How to Union-Proof Your Business
  • Valuation Basics Part 1: Buying a Local Competitor
  • Valuation Basics Part 2: Selling to the Big Guys
  • Lessons in How to Hire and Compensate Sales People

The ever-popular Vendor Sessions, as well as Shredding 101, will also return to the 2008 NAID Annual Conference. In addition, there are expanded hours for the Trade Exposition and the Exterior Truck/Equipment displays. Both the Trade Exposition and the Exterior Truck/Equipment displays appear as though they will be the largest in NAID’s history.

The 2008 NAID Annual Conference will be held April 2-4, 2008, at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California. As usual, conference planners expect the hotel to sell out prior to the event and urges members to make their reservations early. The theme of this year’s event is "The Wonderful World of Information Destruction: Creatively Changing Challenges to Opportunities."

Registration for the event will open on December 15, 2007 at which time there will be another announcement.
