NAID-Canada Conference Adds Second High Level Speaker

In the last edition of NAIDDirect, it waS announced that Ms. heather Black, Assistant Privacy Commissioner of Canada, would address the 2007 NAID-Canada Conference on February 1st in Toronto. Her presentation titled, "Records Storage, Now You See It, now You Don't," will be the afternoon keynote.

NAID-Canada has now confirmed that Ann Cavoukian, Ph.D., Ontario's widely respected Information and Privacy commissioner will open the proceedings with a keynote address titled, "Information Destruction's Role in Privacy Policy."

These are two of Canada's most influential privacy officials. NAID-Canada's Annual Conference will be open to the public for the first day, February 1, 2007, followed by a closed session on the second day to deal with industry specific issues. With these two speakers in the line up, the association is expecting a great turn out.

The conference will be held at the marriott Bloor Yorkville Hotel in downtown Toronto.
