NAID Auditor Training Held this Week

Bookmark and Share

On September 27th, against the backdrop of the annual ASIS International conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, NAID will conduct its bi-annual NAID Auditor Training. All of NAID’s U.S.-based auditors will attend the event, which will generally serve to make certain there is consistency in the manner in which NAID Certification audits are handled.

It will also be the first face-to-face meeting of the U.S.-based NAID Auditors since the introduction of the unannounced audits. One of the main goals is, therefore, to review the impact of that process. Additionally, NAID will be familiarizing the auditors with the details of the Hard Drive Sanitization Certification program which will soon be launched.

NAID President-elect Tom Simpson and NAID Certification Chair Angie Singer Keating will join Executive Director Bob Johnson and Deputy Executive Director Jody Schmit in conducting the training.

Currently, there are 353 NAID member-locations that are NAID Certified. With the addition of unannounced audits, that means there are over 440 audits conducted each year.
