NAID Membership Reaches New High

Bookmark and Share

NAID has reached an all time high of 847 member-companies. This new level of membership has been attained even with the removal of companies that were acquired over the last year, as well as a few non-renewing companies.

This continues what has been a six year trend of rapid growth for the association, even in the face of several waves of aggressive consolidation activity.

While NAID has been gaining new members on a regular basis from Europe, Canada and Australasia, its main source of growth continues to be from within the US. And despite healthy growth from companies providing electronic destruction services, most new members are primarily involved in the physical destruction of hard-copy media.

NAID is also seeing an increasing join-rate from more mature companies that have been in the secure destruction business for some period of time.
