Chase Incident Emphasizes Importance of Shredding

An article by Lisa Vaas of the popular e-zine called eWeek on May 4, 2007, uses the high-profile and highly embarrassing incident of Chase Bank dumpster diving to make the point that records destruction is a necessity in today’s world. As reported in the last edition of NAIDDirect, JPMorgan Chase confirmed on May 4th that the papers pulled from its trash cans by Service Employees International Union representatives are legitimate bank documents.
