High Tech Copiers are Information Security Risk

Bookmark and Share

According to an article by John Burnett posted to BankersOnline on March 1, 2007, sophisticated copiers capable of storing data may pose a security risk. This data is susceptible to anyone with even basic computer skills.

To minimize the chance of divulging sensitive information, the article recommends that owners make sure to purchase, along with new copiers, data protection options such as overwriting, data "shredding," and encryption.
