Unannounced Audits Hold Good News for Most

Bookmark and Share

NAID has been conducting unannounced audits for 6 months and if they have shown anything it is that this program was necessary.

While 21 of 28 unannounced audits raised no issues, a full one-fourth (7) did have some problems. Of the seven unannounced audits which did have problems, two were serious enough that they were forwarded to the Complaint Resolution Council for disciplinary consideration. The other 5 "problem audits" required remedial action and some of those received a second unannounced audit to verify compliance.
