NAID Members to Urge Representatives to Attend BBB Event

Bookmark and Share

At lunchtime on June 26, 2006, the Council of Better Business Bureaus is hosting an educational event at the Rayburn Building (US Senate), to inform Congressional staffers on issues related to data protection. NAID Executive Director Bob Johnson will be speaking at the event, along with representatives from VISA®, Microsoft®, eBay®, and PayPal®.

Early next week, members will receive a special email from NAID, asking them to urge their federal representatives to send a staff member to the event.

While the BBB has already ensured that the event will be well attended, NAID will be urging members to ask their representatives be in attendance. The email will contain instructions for contacting congressional offices as well as a draft message urging attendances.
