Hot Times at the 2006 NAID Conference

Bookmark and Share

The doors have just closed on the 2006 Annual NAID Conference and many of the over 850 participants are just returning home.

Despite late afternoon temperatures of 103º F, the sessions, the exposition and the truck displays were all heavily attended and, by all accounts, were overwhelmingly well-received. The Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa also proved very popular.

Keynote speaker, Kyle "Cruiser" Howlin of Afterburner started the event off on a high note and the high-intensity, fast-paced theme continued throughout. Performance Hiring, Drilling into the 2006 Consumer Survey, and Effective Telemarketing also received very high marks, and the 16 concurrent presentations were well attended right up to the last session.

The conference also set a record for sponsorship support. Virtually every available sponsorship offered was endorsed and greatly added to the financial success of the event.

2007 NAID Conference planners are already gearing up their efforts to build on the success of this year’s event and claim to have many surprises in store.

The 2007 Annual NAID Conference will be held at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Kissimmee (Orlando), Florida from Wednesday, April 11 through Friday, April 13th.

NAIDDirect™ readers will be alerted in two weeks when the Gaylord Palms will begin accepting reservations. Those considering attending will be encouraged to act quickly to secure their rooms. This year, the NAID rooming block at the Arizona Biltmore sold out more than five months before 2006 Conference, which was even before the conference brochure was mailed.
