With the results of the most recent examinations, more than 100 individuals have now earned the Certified Secure Destruction Specialist (CSDS) designation.

“These industry professionals should be very proud of themselves. No one passes this test without a lot of hard work and dedication,” said NAID CEO Bob Johnson. “Best of all, they’ve set themselves up for success; not simply by having the CSDS credential, but by developing a comprehensive understanding of our dynamic industry.”

NAID created the CSDS accreditation to promote and acknowledge a range of disciplines in the secure destruction industry. The exam has 300 questions from seven subject areas, and NAID provides a CSDS handbook, sample exam, and 10 webinar training sessions.

“Overall we’ve had an 85% passing rate, which is phenomenal considering how difficult this exam is,” said NAID Director of Events and Programs Jamie Steimer. “Those who participated in the webinar series were among the individuals who saw the best results.”

Most recently, the following individuals passed the exam and can now display their new CSDS credentials:

Randy Brusso, CSDS            Mohave Shred
