Members Should Report Name Changes Within 30 Days

The NAID Board of Directors is requiring that all NAID Members inform HQ of name changes within 30 days of the occurrence. Ethic complaints have arisen as a result of a company joining NAID under one name and claiming membership under another that is unknown to NAID. In the particular case that the CRC processed, the NAID Member actually used the claimed membership under both the original name and the new name in the commercial telephone directory. That is never permissible to apply a NAID Membership under different company names.

The 30-day timeframe is to maintain consistency with another provision which requires members to report any changes in ownership within that same timeframe.

NAID Membership and NAID Certification are not transferable to another party without written notice and the requisite approvals.
