Supportive Ad Runs Nationally

Readers of NAIDDirect™ who subscribe to TIME® were probably surprised to see a full page ad in the most recent issue, making the point that the trash is more likely to be used than computer hacking to steal personal information. While NAID has grown substantially, we still do not have the budget to support that kind of advertising.@ It just so happens that we have the credit card companies to thank for it. Even though it is their attempt to call attention away from the sensation headlines involving electronic infiltration, it is a message that NAID is happy to support. We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.

Interestingly, it is the same message that NAID took to Congress during last summer’s hearings. The credit card companies were obviously paying attention too.
