NAID Continues Work With British Standards Institute

Bookmark and Share

Within hours of the NAID Government Relations delegation meeting with legislative staff in Washington D.C., executive director, Bob Johnson will be meeting with the British Standards Institute (BSI) committee responsible for developing standards of practice for secure shredding firms operating in the U.K.

In Great Britain, the BSI standards are taken very seriously by both government and business. It virtually ensures that such specifications would be adopted in contracts and proposals throughout the land.

Adoption of a standard is also an important milestone toward the creation of an E.U. standard which would be the next goal.
