First Round of Filming on Data Destruction Video Complete

Bookmark and Share

This past weekend marked the completion of the first two days of filming for the first-ever NAID video production under the working title “Data Disposal: It’s in Your Hands.”

The video, which is being created to film-quality production standards, is designed to help NAID Members provide their customers with the training that is now required by data protection laws.

According to NAID CEO Bob Johnson, “While the film is positioned to help members’ clients fulfill their required training requirements, the training film will certainly create many new sales opportunities.  It will be hard for customers to watch this video and not be compelled to put a lot more thought into how they are disposing of their information. It will definitely increase the amount of materials companies destroy and increase the outsourcing of destruction needs.”

Photos from the first weekend of shooting are available on NAID's Facebook page. In addition, a “behind the-scenes” look at the video is posted on NAIDTV, the associations YouTube channel.

NAID will soon film interviews with officials from several key regulatory agencies and industry associations, which will be included in the final video.  The finished product should be ready by the end of the year.  NAID is planning a series of such videos over the coming months and years, each with a specific and unique message and mission.
