On July 14, 2004, the NAID Board of Directors approved the 2004/2005 budget of approximately $1.4 million.

Among the most significant expenditures is a combined spending of near $350,000 on government relations, which included $150,000 contributed from the NAID Treasury and an estimated $200,000 in voluntary, non-dues contributions raised from NAID members specifically for government relations initiatives.

Public relations also received a substantial increase in funding. In total, $95,000 is aimed at the outbound NAID advertising campaign, up from $50,000, while an additional $40,000 is earmarked for the design and publication of new marketing brochures.

The NAID 2004/2005 fiscal year budget will be posted in its entirety in the members’ only section of the NAID web site within the next few days.
