WORLD SHRED Signs Speakers

The WORLD SHRED 2004 planning committee is proud to announce the selection of several of feature speakers for this year’s event.

Cody Ford of ChurchStreet Technology, Inc. will provide an in depth, hands-on presentation on the "document reconstruction" software that has been so prominently featured in recent news. The advent of document reconstruction software has the distinct possibility of having an impact upon our business. The industry associations, as well as their members, need to stay on top of these developments in order to respond appropriately.

ChurchStreet Technology, Inc. is the firm that the German government hired to reassemble millions of shredded WWII documents and, more recently, was involved in reconstructing shredded documents at the heart of the Canadian-based law suit between Westjet and Air Canada. (see story below)

Malcolm Gallagher, a leading and much sought-after sales and marketing trainer, has also been lined up for WORLD SHRED 2004. According to one member of the planning committee who has been through Mr. Gallagher’s workshop, "this presentation alone will be worth the price of admission."

Another speaker being considered for WORLD SHRED 2004 is a Brussels-based government relations professional familiar with both current and pending E.U. Data Protection Directive initiatives.

More information and registration materials for WORLD SHRED 2004 will be posted to the NAID web site by August 15, 2004. That same information will also be mailed soon after.
