Bookmark and Share

1)     NAID Members should encourage local law enforcement and their state's Attorney General to comment to the FTC regarding the rule.

a.  Whether you contact law enforcement by phone, email or regular mail, use the talking points listed in the Legislative Resource Center of NAIDonline.org to convey why law enforcement should support a strong FACTA Disposal Rule. You can find these talking points by linking to FACTA - POINTS FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT TO CONSIDER in the NAID Legislative Resource Center: www.naidonline.org/leg_rsrc_cntr/facta.pdf

b.  ACT NOW! Even though the deadline for comments is June 15th, you need to reach out now for the best chance of getting your law enforcement agencies to respond.

c.  Include the following instructions for submitting comments
