NAID-Canada has added a Toronto stop to its road show, a series of seminars taking place throughout Canada. The seminars will provide information and tools to customers so they can develop the data destruction policies and training programs required by data protection regulations.

“We are only holding these events where we have secured the support of the provincial information and privacy commissioner (IPC),” said NAID-Canada Conference Chair Kevin Perry. “So far we have been able to get that support from the IPCs in Saskatchewan and Ontario. It is our hope to hold similar events in Alberta, British Columbia and Newfoundland.”

The Saskatchewan Data Destruction Policy and Training Seminar will be held in Regina on Oct. 16 with the Ontario seminar following on Oct. 18. Details for the NAID-Canada Road Show can be found in the Upcoming Events page on the NAID website.
