New program allows members to acknowledge good customers

This month marks the official launch of the new Secure Data Zone Customer Recognition Program.

“Over the years, we’ve often seen members providing recognition to customers for their environmental responsibility,” said NAID CEO Bob Johnson. “It is about time members started acknowledging them for taking their data protection responsibilities seriously. After all, clients’ customers are just as concerned about privacy as they are about the environment.”

Johnson added, “Customers love being recognized in a way that promotes their good behavior. And, a customer recognition program consistently branded around the world will have significantly more value to the client than a program developed by any one individual service provider.”

According to the program description, NAID members may use the formal certificate, counter stand and window decal, to acknowledge a wide range of good customer behaviors. In addition, Johnson introduced the program during NAID’s Summer School Webinar Series and a recording of the webinar is available by clicking here.
