NAID-ANZ conference announces key speakers, exhibitors

Even though the NAID-ANZ 2013 Conference on Feb. 19 is built around the release of the Australian Disposal Habits Study results and related press conference, it will also feature a healthy dose of sessions and exhibitors.

The opening speaker for the conference will be Angelene Falk, who is the Acting Assistant Commissioner for the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). Falk is a member of the OAIC’s Executive Team and played an important role in the development of the recently passed privacy reform legislation. Falk will lead future implementation of the reforms, and played a key role in the development of the OAIC’s “Guide to Information Security.”

Other speakers include Paul Da Silva,Senior Manager of Asset Management Services at Sims Recycling Solutions; D. S. Williams, CPP and RSecP of DSW Consulting; and Mike Rothery, First Assistant Secretary to the Australian Attorney General.
