NAID 2013 focuses on HITECH rule

“The final rule stands to change the practice of health care privacy and security as we know it,” said Lynne Gordon CEO of the American Health Information Management Association. “It’s a new era and it starts today.”

As a result of the release of the HITECH Final Rule, NAID has decided to add a new session to provide refresher training on the Doctors’ Office Marketing Program and the Customer Employee Training Video. Of course, this is in addition to a number of sessions already scheduled to cover the impact of this rule.

“These programs were created expressed for the opportunity presented by HITECH,” said NAID CEO Bob Johnson. “The time has come to take full advantage!”
