Route driver session topic 30 years in making

Bookmark and Share

Conference presenter Len Rashkin and NAID CEO Bob Johnson have spent a lot of time planning a session that has been years in the making.

“Like many, when I started out, I had to service the route and sell,” said Johnson. “When I was making pickups, I was always on the lookout for opportunities. When I had a customer in a multitenant building, I would stop by the other tenants to tell them who we were and that I would be in the building once a week. On the road, I would notice offices being built or tenants moving in. I have always been troubled by the fact that for the most part, drivers today aren’t trained to do that as aggressively as I was when I started. The concept behind the session is simple. Len Rashkin is a guy who specializes in developing strategies and training for route sales in the vending and office services arena. I’m giving him everything he needs to know about how our industry services and customers so he can bring all his knowledge, experience and ideas to us.”

Len Rashkin will present Effective Strategies for Turning Route Drivers Into More Effective Sales Generators at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 23.
