June 17, 2013

Among the many items on the upcoming NAID Board of Directors agenda is the approval of the 2013-2014 budget. At this point in time, management, board officers and committee members are considering their needs and ambitions for the upcoming year.

Last year’s $2.8 million budget was among the most aggressive in the association’s history; however, given the success of the organization, it appears the forthcoming budget will be even more ambitious. A Solid State Sanitization Research Study, the NAID ‘em campaign, disposal habits studies and a Secondhand Hard Drive Data Recovery Study will be among the projects earmarked for investment impacting the discretionary spending targets in the upcoming year. Information on the finalized NAID budget will be published following its approval by the board, which is expected by July 31.
