ARMA-Chicago and NAID to Develop Local Records Management & Data Protection Conference

Bookmark and Share

NAID has accepted an invitation from the Chicago chapter of ARMA International to help develop and promote its 2011 spring seminar.

As currently envisioned, the event would feature one “track” of sessions on records management issues to be developed by ARMA-Chicago and a second track of sessions, developed by NAID, aimed at data protection issues.

The invitation from ARMA is not a complete surprise according the NAID President Jim Beran. “This summer we approached several associations in Chicago to learn of their interest in partnering on a local data protection.  ARMA-Chicago took our initiative to heart and came back to us with a slightly different concept.” Beran is quick to add, “This is still a great opportunity for NAID to further brand itself in the minds of customers. We truly believe we will help ARMA-Chicago have a great event, and this will lead to similar opportunities with ARMA chapters and other groups, across the country.”
