NAID-Canada Annual Conference Dates and Location Set

“We’re going to take a new approach to this year’s conference,” says NAID-Canada Conference Chair Mario Skopek. “Attendees will leave the event with a new set of compliance documents, as well as an implementation plan.”

For several years now, the NAID-Canada Conference already differed from the NAID Annual Conference by aiming its content squarely at customers, rather than service providers.  This year the Canadian chapter will take that one step further by transforming the event into a policy development workshop.

“It’s a big gamble,” says NAID CEO Bob Johnson, “but it could have a big payoff.”

NAID-Canada is no stranger to experimental initiatives. During last year’s event, it unveiled the results of the first-ever Dumpster Diving study, which ended up being covered on national television across the country.  As a result of that success, similar projects are now planned for Madrid, Spain and London, England this fall.

The event will be held on November 3, 2011 at theMetro Toronto Convention Centre.  Complete details on the NAID-Canada Conference will be posted on the NAID website in August.
