Dec. 5, 2013

Despite a maturing marketplace and slow economic recovery, NAID continued its 20 years of membership growth in 2013 by adding 156 new member locations between January and November.

“Given the market conditions, the association’s growth speaks to the resilience of the industry and the association’s growing relevance,” said NAID President Tom Huth of Allshred Services, Inc. “It’s good to see NAID’s continued exploration of new ways to serve our members and the industry is being recognized.”

Statistically speaking, approximately 80 percent of new members are based in North America. For some members, it will come as no surprise that about 30 percent of new members provide electronic destruction and IT asset management services. NAID has more than 2,000 member locations worldwide.
