NAID Member-company WesTex Document has announced that it was recently awarded the contract for state agencies and offices that purchase services from the State Comptroller's Texas Procurement and Support Services.   Records currently in storage with former contractors will be transferred to WesTex Document in the coming months and these agencies now have a vendor in their backyard to provide better services right here in west Texas.

The firm also announced that it was awarded a project for records management from a nuclear waste industry.  According to the release, the firm will be providing, storage, imaging and destruction services for them starting this month.

Of their success, Westex founder and CEO John Miller said, “We are proud to now have two strategic business partners from the nuclear industry selecting us to help manage their records programs. As one of only two corporations in the United States that meet the Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) standards for handling records for that industry, we have worked hard to meet those high standards.” Miller added that, “NAID ‘AAA’ Certification is part of our overall quality assurance program and served as the foundation on which we build the process to meet and pass NQA-1 audit standards.”
