In two weeks, NAID CEO Bob Johnson will be traveling to the United Kingdom for the IRMS Conference 2014.

“I’ll be speaking about strategies for minimizing regulatory liabilities and compliance standards in our industry,” said Johnson. “All of which are important for IRMS attendees, who are primarily in RIM capacities, to know and understand.”

The Information and Records Management Society (IRMS) is a professional society for professionals in the records and information management (RIM) industries in the United Kingdom. This year’s conference is May 18-20 at the Hilton Brighton Metropole in Brighton, United Kingdom. All of the sessions will be about the luxury and/or necessity of RIM in governance, risk and compliance. For NAID, this is an opportunity to introduce how the role of secure information destruction practices effect records management governance and compliance.
