In the face of increased regulatory pressure on clients to monitor third party, data-related vendors, NAID’s free compliance notification service continues to grow nearly seven months after it was launched.

“This confidential service sends an email alert when there is a renewal or lapsing of a service providers’ certification status,” explained Holly Vandervort, NAID’s Chief Compliance Officer. “There’s no registration or permission needed. It just requires a few clicks of the mouse.”

Unlike the association’s new service where clients can request a copy of the most recent audit report, the notification requires no service provider permissions since the information requested is already publicly posted to NAID’s website. Those wishing to monitor the renewal or lapsing of NAID certified locations may do so by clicking the link under the service providers’ member directory listing. The service is completely confidential and automated.
