Attendance at the NAID 2015 Annual Conference represents a recent high for the association, according to Jamie Hughes, NAID’s Director of Events and Programs.

“Since 2011, the event has attracted approximately 600 participants,” said Hughes. “Our preliminary count shows this year’s attendance at 700 or more.”

While understandably down from attendee numbers in the mid-2000s, according to NAID CEO Bob Johnson, the type of delegates attending this year also bodes well for the event’s overall health.

“Even though the number of attendees increased by 15% this year, that’s only part of the story,” said Johnson. “The percentage of first-time attendees and service providers actually increased because the exhibiting companies generally showed up with fewer representatives.”

Next year’s NAID conference will be held April 7-9, 2016, at the Renaissance Orlando at Seaworld in Orlando, Florida.
