NAID addresses increasing insurance requirements

In an effort to curtail increasing insurance requirements, NAID board members will mount an effort aimed at reversing that trend.

“It makes no sense to require a service provider to have an unreasonably high amount of general liability coverage just to come on the property to serve a small customer,” said NAID CEO Bob Johnson. “We hope to offer members tools that will help them reason with property managers as well as enlist their customers’ support in setting reasonable thresholds.”

To that end, members will soon be invited to participate in an online survey to get as broad a perspective as possible and to determine the extent and frequency of such claims.
