The 2016 NAID Conference Committee met this week for the first time to begin planning the NAID 2016 Annual Conference in Orlando, Fla. Each year committee members ask for session ideas and presentation proposals for the event. The NAID 2016 call for presentations will be announced in NAIDDirect in July.

“We feel the success of NAID 2015 was due in large part to the amazing number of session ideas we received,” said Jamie Hughes, NAID’s Director of Events and Programs. “There’s no better way to develop timely, meaningful content, than having members tell us what they need. With more than 20 sessions to put together, the planning committee needs as much input as possible.”

“Approximately 700 participants attended NAID 2015 in Dallas, making it one of the most well-attended industry events in recent memory,” said Joe Harford, CSDS, of Reclamere, Inc., in Tyrone, Penn. “Given that momentum, and the continued success of other NAID programs, we have every reason to believe the event in Orlando next spring will be even bigger.”

Secure destruction professionals should consider sessions they would like to present or see at the conference. NAID traditionally hosts more than 25 sessions at its annual conference, in addition to the industry’s largest trade show and truck demo lot. The event next year marks the organization’s 21st conference and the 22nd year of operation.
