As previously announced, the NAID Board of Directors will meet next week near Nashville, Tennessee, where members will tackle one of the most ambitious agendas in recent memory.

“NAID and the industry face many challenges and opportunities,” said NAID President Steve Richards, CSDS. “The good news is that members have elected a strong board willing to confront these issues head on.”

Included among the many agenda items the board will be deliberating on are proposals for changing the way bylaws are amended, complimentary downstream recycling certifications, NAID-ANZ promotion, the 2017 annual conference location, and the 2015-2016 budget.

Other discussion points include the promotion of custodial membership, international growth, the conversion of Downstream Data Coverage to a member-owned, captive insurance program, the association’s success in New Jersey, and expanding NAID’s advocacy footprint.
