NAID has retained a full time contractor to work directly with NAID CEO Bob Johnson on the creation of a textbook titled, Information Disposition. When completed next summer, the single volume text will serve as the study guide for future Certified Secure Destruction Specialists, but it is also being designed to conform to university level curriculum requirements for use at in Management Information System (MIS) course work.

“We intend to turn to our current population of CSDS professionals to help with the project,” says Johnson. “As chapters are completed, we will need a lot help proofing and documenting research. People with a CSDS accreditation are perfect for the job; they can earn continuing education units required to sustain their status, and earn acknowledgement in the world’s one-and-only textbook of its kind.”

Information Disposition will be developed using scores of disparate source materials used to develop the CSDS training and examination over the years.

CSDS professionals interested in helping with the project will be invited to apply in January 2016.
