MEMBER NEWS: VECOPLAN Booth at 2015 NPE Wins Platinum MarCom

Vecoplan recently announced that their “Shredding Frenzy” booth at NPE has earned a Platinum MarCom Award.Apple Rock Advertising & Promotion, Inc created the booth for Vecoplan and entered it, under the Ads/Tradeshow Exhibit category, in the MarCom competition. Apple Rock built the custom display using extrusion and fabric, and included a “Shark-Tank” conference room complete with swimming shark porthole windows via video monitors. This same booth won a Platinum Hermes award earlier last year.

According to the firm, the MarCom Awards is an international competition for marketing and communications professionals and is the largest competition of its kind, with more than 6,000 entries in 200 categories each year.  The mission of the MarCom Awards is to honor excellence and recognize the creativity, hard work and generosity of marketing and communications professionals.

The competition is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals, which also sets standards for excellence within the industry. Judges are creative professionals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serve as a benchmark for the industry.

The release states that Vecoplan, the world leader in shredding technologies, used its NPE booth as a platform to promote their plastics shredders and HyroDyn plastics washing lines, both integral components in recycling systems. Vecoplan designs, engineers, manufactures, installs, commissions, and provides ongoing parts and service for systems used in industrial recycling.
