Time to think about NAID committee involvement

After NAID members elect their new Board members for 2016, there is often a shakeup in committee leadership. Not because of any controversy; simply because elected officials have new responsibilities and often that means they leave other responsibilities behind them.

The current NAID Board of Directors encourages member representatives that would like to get involved to reach out to NAID HQ or the specific committee chairs to express their interest.

“Many members may not realize the number of volunteers we need to make NAID what it is,” says NAID President Steve Richards, CSDS, of Richards & Richards in Nashville, Tenn. “They also often overlook the fact that it can lead to great industry involvement and that it improves their business.”

“At any point in time, there are well over 100 people active on the association’s various committees,” say NAID CEO Bob Johnson. “Every NAID initiative starts with the committees.”
