Sept. 28, 2016

It’s only 3 weeks until registration opens for the NAID 2017 Conference and Expo, and, as usual, the event promises to be chock-full of innovations and new products for the secure information destruction industry.

The first official unveiling to be announced is coming from the CSDS Board of Regents who will present for the first time the new Information Disposition textbook. Besides serving as the CSDS training manual and university-level curriculum, the textbook will also serve as an unparalleled sales tool for hard copy and electronic data destruction services, according to NAID CEO Bob Johnson.

“Imagine dealing with customer who’s leaning toward some questionable disposition decision and being able to show them by reference to the textbook where they are going astray,” says Johnson. “The textbook will make it very difficult of customers to defend irresponsible practices.”

During the session at NAID 2017 where the textbook is unveiled, Johnson will demonstrate how the sales function of the textbook will work.

Last year, more than a dozen major product and programs were launched at the NAID Conference. Planners expect a similar or higher number of launches at NAID 2017 in Las Vegas, NV.
