“Data protection is emerging as the single most important consideration when businesses evaluate their potential electronics recycler,” according to NAID CEO Bob Johnson. “In addition to that, every paper shredder already owes it to itself to pay attention to emerging opportunities on the electronic side of things.”

As a result, many of the top minds in the electronics data destruction world will be among the speakers at NAID 2017. The list of highly respected professionals includes:
  • Jerry Powell, publisher E-Scrap magazine/organizer of the E-Scrap Conference
  • John Shegerian, CEO of ERI (formerly Electronics Recyclers International)
  • Willie Cade founder PC Rebuilders & Recyclers/Organizer of the Electronic Reuse Conference
  • Craig Boswell, founder of HOBI International, one of the largest mobile phone recyclers in North America
  • And more...
In total, there are more than a dozen experts in electronic data destruction who will add their wisdom and experience to the more than 25 hours of educational content at the event.

Johnson adds, “Companies already focused on electronics will benefit by learning more about how regulations and compliance factor into increased sales. Those service providers that are now only scratching the surface of the opportunity will learn how they can benefit and grow. Prospects are great in electronic data destruction, more than just shredding the occasional hard drives.”

The NAID 2017 Conference and Expo will be held March 22-24 at the Tropicana Las Vegas Resort. Those registering before December 31st are eligible for a $200 per person discount off the full registration fee.
