April 6, 2017

Due to the success of last year’s campaign, Jake, Connor & Crew, Kitchener, Ontario, in conjunction with its nonprofit charitable division, “The Jake Foundation,” is continuing its fight against animal abuse with its “Putting a Lid on Animal Abuse” campaign.

A percentage of the proceeds from the sale of the company’s orange Pedigree Series wheeled bin lids will be donated to international and domestic animal humane societies. These wheeled bin lids will be available for purchase during April and May 2017.

“Recognizing the color of orange, symbolizing those opposed to cruelty against animals/ animal abuse, and April [being] 'Going Orange for Animals' month and May [being] 'National Pet Month,' we feel this is another opportunity for us to give back and raise awareness of our continuing support of animal causes worldwide and in our own community,” says Gayle Nummelin, Vice President of Jake, Connor & Crew.

“Jake, Connor & Crew and our charitable arm, the Jake Foundation, have been dedicated to this cause for the last 20 years. We are pleased to continue our support of this important initiative in this innovative manner”.

Available by special order, the “Putting a Lid on Animal Abuse” document protection and waste and recycling wheeled bin lids include permanent in-mold messaging showing support for this cause. They are available in North American and European
lifting styles and in sizes from 27 gallon to 96 gallon.

Jake, Connor & Crew is the largest manufacturer of wheeled bins and consoles for the document protection and waste and recycling industries. With manufacturer-direct pricing and multiple international distribution locations, Jake, Connor & Crew is “Putting a Lid on Animal Abuse.”
