NAID CEO, Bob Johnson, will speak during the opening day plenary session for E-Scrap 2017 along with other industry experts. The session, taking place on Tuesday, September 19 from 10:45 am - 12:12 pm in the National Ballroom AB is on the following:

The private firms, organizations and public agencies involved in electronics recovery are being affected by many new trends and challenges. Data security concerns, the lightweighting of devices, legislative shifts and undulations in the economy – these are just a few of issues confronting stakeholders. Four seasoned professionals offer insights into what can we expect in the years to come.

The annual E-Scrap Conference is widely regarded as the most highly concentrated gathering of electronics recyclers in the world. Last year’s event reportedly attracted an estimated 1,250 attendees from more than 38 countries.

“It’s obviously a great honor to be invited to speak at such a highly-regarded event,” says Johnson. “There are still too many electronics recyclers missing out on the service revenue and customer loyalty that result when they take a serious approach to data protection.”

Those attending the event should also swing by the NAID Booth #404 to say hello and discuss this facet of the industry.

E-Scrap 2017 is being held September 18-20 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate in Orlando, Florida.
