Canada DVD and Trailer Now Ready – Free Training Webinar Dec. 8

Bookmark and Share

On November 3rd, the Canadian version of the Customer Employee Training Video was shown for the first time to a packed house of NAID-Canada members in Toronto.  Included among the modifications to the Canadian version are comments from Dr. Ann Cavoukian, Ontario’s Information and Privacy Commissioner; considered by many to be one of the leading privacy professionals in the world.

As NAID-Canada Chair Dave Carey puts it, “Dr. Cavoukian’s appearance on the video, strongly advocating for proper destruction and promoting policy development, is huge.  Customers who watch this video will certainly think long and hard about their destruction needs and, in turn, be moved to take action.”

In unveiling the new video, NAID CEO Bob Johnson explained to members how the video, which at the surface was designed as part of a turnkey training module, can also very easily serve as a subtle but extremely effective sales tool.

NAID-Canada is offering a free webinar to members who were unable to attend the Toronto unveiling.  The event is scheduled for 3:00 PM EST on Dec. 8.  Registration is not necessary and complete details are available in the NAID-Canada Upcoming Events section of the NAID website.

A collateral brochure, titled “Why and How”, that explains how the program works to customers has also been created, as has a short video that also explains the program.
